ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders took aim at Republican candidate Donald Trump saying, "We are not going to allow the Trumps of the world to divide us up," at a campaign rally in Texas. "It is not acceptable to refer to Mexicans who come into this country as criminals, as rapists, as drug dealers," Sanders said. "As a nation we have come to far in fighting racism and bigotry, we will not allow that language to stand," Sanders said. When he entered the presidential race in June, Trump thundered against Mexico and its undocumented migrants in the United States, dismissing them as rapists and drug runners. Since then, the controversial billionaire and front-runner for the Republican nomination has advocated deporting millions from the United States. Trump, 69, who has never held public office, has campaigned as a political outsider. He is riding a wave of voter anger at the slow economic recovery, illegal immigration and what he says is America's diminishing role in the world.
