ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders says "we've got to stay away from heroin" but dismisses comparisons between the "killer drug" to that of marijuana during a campaign rally in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Monday (March 7). "Marijuana is not heroin," Sanders said. "I'm not here advocating for marijuana. I've done marijuana twice in my life, when I was very young," Sanders said to a roaring crowd. "And what it did for me is it made me cough a lot. That was my response." Sanders said he believes marijuana should be taken out of the Federal Controlled Substances Act. The Vermont senator also said he would "release all of the transcripts of the speeches I gave behind closed doors or open doors, to Wall Street." He then flailed his arms as though he was pushing air towards the audience. Sanders is pressing his charge that Clinton is too close to Wall Street and demanded again that she release the transcript of paid speeches she has given to Wall Street firms. Clinton said she would release them when all the candidates, including Republicans, also release transcripts of similar talks.
