ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich said a brokered convention is "likely" as he advised competitors not to "whine" about how it would work. "When it comes to a convention, it's like in order to be the nominee you have to have a certain number of votes," he said after addressing supporters in Monroe, Michigan. "I think it is important if when you go to a convention, if we end up there, which it looks like we will, that it be a fair process," he said, "Don't be whining about how it is going to work, go, get what you need to be the legitimate winner," he said. "It is most likely that no one will have enough delegates, we will see, it's a long way to go," he added. Kasich, 63, is the only other candidate remaining from a starting field of 17, has yet to win any state. The latest Monmouth polls shows Donald Trump winning Michigan on March 8, with 36 percent followed by Sen. Ted Cruz at 23 percent and Kasich at 21 percent.
