ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Sunday (March 27) said leaders overseas are bewildered by some of the rhetoric in the U.S. around Muslims following the Islamic State attacks in Brussels. "Everywhere I go, every leader I meet, they ask 'what is happening in America?'. They can't believe it," Kerry told the CBS Face the Nation program in response to a question about the international reaction to topics such as banning Muslims in the U.S., surveilling Muslim neighborhoods and waterboarding terror suspects. Kerry appeared on the weekly news show for a broad-ranging interview that covered the Brussels attacks, the Syrian conflict and the U.S. election.
