'Batman v Superman' a box office supervillain?

Moviegoers were less interested in the action-filled superhero movie during its second weekend compared to its stellar debut, but ''Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'' still dominated box office ticket sales. Gavino Garay reports.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" starring Ben Affleck soared above the North American box office over the weekend with over $52 in ticket sales, even though it took in about 60% less than its opening weekend when it made a record-setting debut. Largely negative critical reviews may be making an impact now, after last week's highest-ever global debut earnings for a superhero film. And Zootopia appears to be the gift that keeps on giving. The film about a rookie rabbit officer in a police force dominated by older, larger animals, has been topping charts for weeks. It brought the competition to justice this weekend with another $20 million in earnings. And -- there's nothing like tradition. "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2" was yet another successful holdover from last weekend. It earned $11.1 over the weekend according to studio estimates. Maybe that'll help it offset some of those wedding costs...
