ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Republican presidential candidate Gov. John Kasich pledges that he would be a "normal guy" in a big office if he is elected President as he campaigns in Annapolis, Maryland. Kasich is in Maryland ahead of its primary April 26 and as voters head to the polls in New York where rival Donald Trump is expected to win. Trump, front-runner for months in the Republican race, currently has 744 delegates, while U.S. Senator Ted Cruz has 559 and Kasich is trailing far behind with 144, according to an Associated Press count. Kasich told the crowd that while he does not expect to win a majority of support to automatically become the Republican nominee, he does not think any of his rivals will be able to do so either. He said he expected that he could win because Republican delegates at the Convention would pick him. He said that polls show he is the only Republican candidate who would be able to beat Hillary Clinton if she is the Democratic nominee. He also said, not naming his rivals, "Some people are angry but I tell you ultimately people don't like politicians who they don't like, they just don't."
