NATURAL ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The official poster for the 69th Cannes Film Festival was hung up on the Palais des Festivals on Monday (May 9), as the French Riviera town readies to welcome film-makers, stars, journalists and cinema fans. This year's festival will officially open on Wednesday May 11 with U.S. director George Miller presiding the jury. The yellow poster, designed using stills from French director Jean-Luc Godard's film 'Contempt' was lifted on two facades of the Palais des Festivals where the films will be shown. The Festival's top prize, the Palme d'Or, will be awarded to the winning film after 12 days of competition, on May 22.
