ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Story: Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders and his wife paid a visit to Mt. Rushmore on Thursday while campaigning in South Dakota. Sanders' tour of the historic park came just hours before a scheduled campaign rally in Rapid City, South Dakota, about 25 miles away. Sanders is wooing voters in South Dakota just days after defeating Democratic rival Hillary Clinton in West Virginia's presidential primary. The loss slows Clinton's march to the nomination, but she is still heavily favored to become the Democratic candidate in the Nov. 8 election.
