Jessica Kumala Wongso appeared in court in Jakarta for the start of her trial accused of killing a college friend with cyanide. Lawyers for Wongso, who is Indonesian but is also a permanent resident of Australia, say there's no evidence. She's charged with murder for allegedly spiking her friend's coffee with cyanide at this shopping mall in the Indonesian capital. Prosecutors say Wayan Mirno Salihin took a sip of the coffee, then collapsed onto the floor and went into convulsions. She was dead by the time she reached hospital. The next hearing for Wongso is due to take place on June 21st. Indonesia's president had said the won't be executed if found guilty, under a deal with Australia to win the co-operation of its police force in the investigation.
