An outpouring of grief in London as news sinks in that British lawmaker Jo Cox, a 41-year-old mother of two, has died. Cox was shot and stabbed to death while preparing to hold a meeting with constituents in Birstall, west Yorkshire. A 52-year-old man was arrested, but police say they aren't at a point to discuss a motive. Cox was a parliamentarian for the opposition Labour Party and a vocal supporter of Britain remaining in the European Union. Prime Minister David Cameron described Cox as "a great star" and her husband says her last wish would have been to quote "fight against the hatred that killed her." Campaigning for next week's referendum has been suspended in the wake of her death.
