It's been less than 24 hours since the results were announced of an historic referendum vote in the UK to leave the European Union. The decision known as the British exit, or 'Brexit', sent stock markets tumbling around the world and came as a shock to many. But nowhere were the results of the election as divisive than the UK itself. In the northernmost country of Scotland, hundreds came out waving the Scottish and EU flags, in protest of yesterday's decision. They say the referendum doesn't represent the Scottish choice, and are making their voices heard outside the the parliament building at Holyrood in Edinburgh Scotland voted overwhelmingly in favor to stay in the EU by 62 to 38 percent -- a wide margin of difference from the UK's overall result of 52 to 48 percent. The prospect that the Brexit vote could tear the UK apart is becoming a concern. Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon now says a Scottish independence referendum is "highly likely."
