ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. President Barack Obama welcomed the Women's National Basketball Association champions, the Minnesota Lynx, to the White House on Monday (June 27). Led by 2015 Finals MVP Sylvia Fowles and 2014 WNBA MVP Maya Moore, the Lynx captured its third WNBA championship in five seasons last October. The team was at the White House for the same reason in 2012 and 2014. "I think it's fair to say this team is a powerhouse," Obama said. The president later pointed out that he believes women should be paid the same as men for equal work. Lynx guard Lindsay Whalen jokingly asked for legislation to be passed for Obama to be in office four more years, "and us a couple of more times here."
