SUBTITLED ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Pope Francis prayed on Wednesday (June 29) for the victims and relatives of an attack in Turkey that left at least 41 dead and injured some 240 others. Three suspected Islamic State suicide bombers opened fire and blew themselves up in Istanbul's main airport on Tuesday evening. Istanbul's position bridging Europe and Asia has made Ataturk airport, Turkey's largest, a major transit hub for passengers across the world. The Istanbul governor's office said 109 of the 239 people hospitalized had since been discharged. Ten of those killed in the attack were foreign nationals while three people held dual nationality. The attack bore similarities to a suicide bombing by Islamic State militants at Brussels airport in March that killed 16 people. A coordinated attack also targeted a rush-hour metro train, killing a further 16 people in the Belgian capital.
