French police now have five people detained in Nice, as the investigation into the deadly Bastille Day truck attack moves ahead. Authorities there are trying to determine whether Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel had acted alone or with accomplices. Police say he killed at least 84 people by plowing a truck through crowds along Nice's waterfront on Thursday. Three people, whom police described as Bouhlel's "close entourage", were arrested during apartment raids on Saturday. A man and a woman close to Bouhlel were also picked up on Sunday. The attack, along with one in Brussels four months ago, have shocked Western Europe. The region already harbors anxiety over security challenges from mass immigration, open borders and pockets of Islamist radicalism.
