ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker endorsed Donald Trump for president at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday (July 20), telling delegates that his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton cannot be trusted. Walker ran in the Republican primary but his much touted campaign fizzled and he dropped out in September 2015. When he pulled out of the Republican race, Walker criticized the negative tone of the campaign. In Cleveland on Wednesday, Walker gave the controversial New York businessman his full backing. "My fellow Americans, you have a choice. You deserve better. America deserves better. The well-connected in Washington are lining up behind Hillary Clinton, because she is one of them. They want more of the same. Donald Trump is standing with the American people," he said. Clinton, who has been dogged by a controversy over her use of a private email server to send sensitive emails when she was Secretary of State, cannot be trusted, said Walker. "Last August, I said that any of the Republicans running would be better than Hillary Clinton. I meant it then, and I mean it now. So let me be clear: a vote for anyone other than Donald Trump in November is a vote for Hillary Clinton," Walker said. "After hearing the FBI Director's recent comments, I wouldn't even give Hillary Clinton the password to my iPhone - let alone access to classified information. This isn't just another Clinton scandal, Hillary's scandal put our national security at risk and that makes her unfit to be President," he added. Day three of the convention has been dubbed "Make America First Again" and features speeches by Donald Trump's main rivals during the primaries, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.
