ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Hillary Clinton's vice presidential running mate Tim Kaine was quick to show off his Spanish-speaking ability just after being introduced as Hillary Clinton's vice presidential pick at FIU in Miami on Saturday. Speaking at a rally in Miami where the U.S. Senator from Virginia made his debut appearance with the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, Tim proclaimed to the crowd, in Spanish "Welcome everyone! In our country, right? Because we are all Americans." He then went on to address the crowd briefly in 'Spanglish', a mix of Spanish and English often spoken by Latino communities living in the U.S. "I'm feeling a lot of things today. Most of all, gratitude. I'm grateful to you, Hillary, for the trust that you placed in me. And we're going to be soul mates, in this great fight ahead." Clinton named Kaine as her running mate on Friday, opting for an experienced governing partner who will help her present the Democratic ticket as a steady alternative to the unpredictable campaign of Republican presidential rival Donald Trump.
