One of the most iconic dresses worn by Marilyn Monroe is going up for auction. The skin-tight, Jean Louis designed gown was worn by the star in 1962, when she famously sang "Happy Birthday" to U.S. President John F. Kennedy. With its color matching her skin tone, the dress, which was so tight that Monroe had to be sewn into it, gave the impression she was nude. A fund manager bought the dress in 1999 for $1.26 million at a Christie's auction. Following his death, his estate is selling the gown through Julien's Auctions in November. It's expected to fetch upwards of 2 million dollars.
