ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). STORY: Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump slammed his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton again on Wednesday (September 7) for her use of a private email server. He told a crowd in Philadelphia that "probably the only thing" the U.S. has learned from Clinton is how vulnerable the country is to hackers. Clinton has been struggling to overcome criticism about her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state after the FBI issued a scathing report on the issue. Trump said if elected president in November, he would increase resources to the U.S. Defense Department to combat hackers. He also laid out plans to beef up U.S. military hardware, with big increases in spending for new ships, planes, submarines and training combat troops and bolstering missile defense systems. He also said he would ask NATO members to contribute more toward the costs of U.S. bases in their countries.
