Microsoft's looking to revive excitement in computers and draw in a creative crowd. The company just launched Creators Update, an update to the Windows operating system that lets users edit content in three dimensions. And it launched a new sleek, all-in-one desktop computer, the Surface Studio, with a touch-screen that can serve as a front facing monitor or surface tablet at just under $3000. It also upgraded its Surface Book laptop. All additions that investors welcome as part of Microsoft's product line says Morgan Stanley's Keith Weiss. (SOUNDBITE) KEITH WEISS, MANAGING DIRECTOR, MORGAN STANLEY, (ENGLISH) SAYING: "Things they're going to be looking into near-term is the hardware products. The new Surface Book, and, really, the new Surface Studio, as ability for Microsoft to take more share in the overall PC market, and continue what has been a good momentum with that hardware product business." The new hardware products come as Microsoft's Windows and computing business are struggling. But the company is gaining momentum in its fast-growing mobile and cloud business something investors have given chief executive Satya Nadella credit for. Microsoft's shares have doubled since August 2013.
