Parsis in the Indian city of Mumbai are keeping a close eye on developments in the feud at the giant Tata congomerate. Ousted Tata chairman Cyrus Mistry and his interim replacement Ratan Tata are both prominent members of their community. (SOUNDBITE)(English) KAYZAT MULLA FIROZ, MEMBER OF THE PARSI COMMUNITY, SAYING: "Ratan Tata is a mature man. He is philanthropic, he cares for his staff. He is pure Tata blood. Mistry is a capitalist and he believes in business." (SOUNDBITE)(English) PARVEZ DRIVER, MEMBER OF THE PARSI COMMUNITY, SAYING: "I feel this episode is fully based upon both people's egos and nothing else." Mistry, seen here in file footage, emailed an array of alleged governance failings, poor decisions and looming writedowns at Tata within days of his departure which went public. The company hit back equally publicly. Ratan Tata, also seen in file footage, stepped in as interim chairman following the removal of Mistry who'd sought to shake up the firm's management.
