ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Singer Katy Perry on Saturday (November 5) performed in Philadelphia in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. It was the latest in a series of concerts with the theme, "Love Trumps Hate", as Clinton makes last minute appeals to younger voters. She urged the audience to be sure to vote, telling them, "all the campaigning in the world doesn't mean anything if people don't vote." Clinton has leaned on her celebrity supporters to draw large crowds in the final days of the campaign. On Friday night, she appeared in Cleveland with music power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce. Her vice presidential running mate, Tim Kaine, was scheduled to appear with Bon Jovi on Saturday. Opinion polls show Clinton still holds advantages over her Republican rival, Donald Trump, in states that could be critical in deciding the election. But her lead has narrowed after a revelation a week ago that the Federal Bureau of Investigation was looking into a new trove of emails as part of its probe into her handling of classified information while she was secretary of state.
