ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: U.S. Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine says "history changes" if Hillary Clinton is elected president. Speaking to supporters at a rally in Charlotte, North Carolina on the eve of the election, Kaine said, "A whole lot of people who have never been able to see themselves as president of the United States, the moment that she is called as the winner, will say, I can be president of the United States." Clinton and Republican rival Donald Trump along with their running mates are crisscrossing the United States on Monday, racing to sway undecided voters and to get their supporters to vote in a tight presidential contest that opinion polls show narrowly favoring Clinton.
