RESENDING SCRIPT TO UPDATE WITH FINAL RESULT The population of Dixville Notch amounts to just a handful but the tiny New Hampshire hamlet is among the first to vote in U.S. elections. The stroke of midnight here heralds the start of polling day in the U.S. and the final, ultimate showdown between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump for the presidency. It's one of three tiny communities in the White Mountains to start voting this early. Dixville Notch and two other tiny White Mountains communities with small communities, Hart's Location and Millsfield, are permitted to open their polls at midnight and close them moments later provided that everyone who wants to vote has been able to do so. The final result in Dixville Notch gave Hillary Clinton a resounding four votes, her rival Donald Trump got two.
