No way out: angry migrants seek relief

Some 150 migrants in Serbia, frustrated over border closings, march in protest towards the Croation border demanding passage to Western Europe. Mana Rabiee reports.

Trapped in Serbia with few places to go. So they set out on an 80-mile trek to the Croatian frontier.... 150 migrants seeking passage towards Western Europe. Frustrated, now that surrounding borders have been practically sealed off to them. (SOUNDBITE) (English) MIGRANT FROM AFGHANISTAN, MUHAMMED, SAYING: "Every person was here 3 months, 6 months, at the car parking (lot). There are no one place else to live here. They just want to open the border and we go and leave here, Serbia, and go to other places." Police followed the migrants along the highway that connects Belgrade to the border, a three or four day walk if they only stop for sleep. Of the million or more migrants who who made it to Europe by land and sea last year, some 580,000 registered in Serbia at some point. But up to 10,000 still remain... unsure where their journey will take them next.
