ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). U.S. President Barack Obama on Saturday (November 19) said that President-elect Trump has reaffirmed the ties between the U.S. and Europe through NATO, but tensions are likely to arise over trade. The U.S. leader made his comments while meeting with young leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean on the sidelines of the Asian-Pacific Economic Summit in Peru. Obama told them that even though Trump has threatened to revoke some international trade agreements, after examining them, he would probably realize that the plans are good for both the U.S. and its trading partners.
