NATURAL ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION). A Florida police officer and local residents captured on video an unidentified fireball streaking the sky on November 21. The footage shows the moment when the fireball approaches Earth and finally explodes in a flash. The vehicle camera of Venice police officer Seth Kenny caught the first video of the meteor at 11:17 p.m. The second video was recorded by the security camera of Largo residents Christopher and Laura Scruby. The American Meteor Society (AMS) has received over 150 reports about the fireball that was mainly seen from Florida, but was also witnessed in Georgia and Alabama.
