Heavy metal rockers Metallica soared to the top of the weekly U.S. Billboard 200 album chart on Monday November 28. "Hardwired... to Self-Destruct," Metallica's 10th studio album, sold 282,000 albums, 34,000 songs and was streamed 9.3 million times - that total of 291,000 album units is according to figures from Nielsen SoundScan. Billboard said "Hardwired," driven by the strength of physical album sales, was the third-largest album debut of the year, behind Drake's "Views" and Beyonce's "Lemonade." Bruno Mars' "24k Magic" album, his third, debuted in second place with sales of 231,000 album units, while Miranda Lambert's "Weight of These Wings," a double album from the country star, opened at number three with 133,000 album units. Rounding out the top five are Pentatonix in fourth place with their festive offering, "A Pentatonix Christmas," which sold 101,000 units closely followed by A Tribe Called Quest's "We Got it From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service" which sold 59,000 units in its second week of release.
