David Petraeus enters Trump Tower in Manhattan for meetings with President-elect Donald Trump. Trump often praised Petraeus on the campaign trail -- saying it was the nation's loss that the four star general stepped down from leading the CIA after admitting he shared classified information with his mistress Paula Broadwell. One source from the transition team told Reuters that Trump, "sees Petraeus as a good man who made a mistake." Once the top U.S. military commander in Iraq and Afghanistan, Petraeus was sentenced to two years' probation and fined $100,000 last year for the unauthorized removal and retention of classified information. Petraeus has been mentioned as a possible Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense. Petraeus spent about an hour with the President elect. (SOUNDBITE) (English) DAVID PETRAEUS, SAYING: "It was a very good conversation and we will see where it goes from here" Petraeus has plenty of competition. Trump is also holding talks with Mitt Romney Tuesday -- the second recent meeting with the 2012 Republican presidential nominee. Former New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who played a key role on the campaign, is also reportedly in the mix. As for when to expect announcements Trump spokesman Jason Miller said "He'll complete that when he's ready."
