NATURAL ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION Video uploaded to the internet by the Syrian Civil Defence Force (CDF), also known as the White Helmets, appears to show the aftermath of an air strike on a residential area in Idlib on Tuesday (November 29). According to the UK-based monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, one child was killed as a result of the attack. In the video, Civil Defence workers can be seen rushing to the site of the attack by motorbike, said to be Talmins village in the Idlib Province of Syria. They are seen digging through the rubble of a damaged building and carrying survivors to a nearby ambulance. In another video posted on social media, digger vehicles are seen being used in the rescue operation and survivors can be seen being treated at a hospital. One unidentified White Helmet worker is seen saying that the government air force had carried out the strike. Western countries and human rights activists have accused the air forces of the Syrian government and its ally Russia of deliberately attacking hospitals and other civilian infrastructure in areas controlled by rebels. Moscow and Damascus say their air campaign is directed only against militants. Syria's war pits President Bashar al-Assad, supported by Russian air power and Iranian-backed militias, against an array of mostly Sunni rebel groups, including some backed by Turkey, Gulf monarchies or the United States.
