It's the time of year to paint the town green. And revelers are doing just that... even though St. Patrick's DAY is still to come. The bag pipes were out from San Francisco to Pittsburgh this weekend. SOT: "Chicago can have theirs, New York can have theirs. Pittsburgh's is always the best. It's a home town crowd, everyone enjoys themselves." Chicago, however, has the added flair of a green river. Crowds packed the streets Saturday, despite below freezing temperatures. SOT: "I love it. It's not hot, it's not cold, I feel good." But it was tshirt weather for Dallas residents, who came out in droves to celebrate the patron saint of Ireland, as well as Irish culture. SOT: "I love it. I love the energy." SOT: "I can drink in Dallas and not get in trouble." The green beer WAS flowing in Dallas, among other cities... who got into the festive mood early... before the actual day on March 17.
