ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Rep. Adam Schiff, the Democratic leader on the House Intelligence Committee probe into possible Russian meddling in the 2016 election, called on lawmakers to 'get to bottom of the allegations' against President Trump and said 'enough is enough'. "In the contexts of reports by the (FBI) director or associates of the director that he was asked to essentially for a loyalty test to the president," Schiff said. "And now with allegations the president urged him to essentially drop the investigation of Michael Flynn, enough is enough. Congress really needs to get to the bottom of this." On Tuesday, according to an associate of Comey, who has seen the Comey memo, President Donald Trump had asked the former FBI Director to shut down an investigation into ties between former White House national security adviser Michael Flynn and Russia. The Comey memo, first reported by the New York Times, is likely to deepen questions about whether Trump tried to interfere with a federal investigation. Comey wrote the memo after he met in the Oval Office with Trump, the day after the president fired Flynn on Feb. 14 for misleading Vice President Mike Pence about the extent of his conversations last year with Russia's ambassador, Sergei Kislyak.
