The US Justice Department bowing to INTENSE pressure…appointing a special prosecutor on Wednesday to take over the FBI's investigation into whether President Trump's campaign worked with Russia to tilt the election in his favor last year. The Justice Department naming former FBI Director Robert Mueller to handle the probe, in a bid to shield the investigation from political pressure… The growing scandal has derailed the Republican agenda in Washington and begun to weigh on financial markets as well -- the U.S. dollar and stock indexes falling steeply Wednesday amid growing doubts that Trump will be able to deliver on promised tax cuts, banking reforms and infrastructure spending.
