Hollywood megastar Robert Pattinson premiered his latest film 'Good Time' in New York on Tuesday. Pattinson plays Connie - who lands his younger brother in prison after a failed bank robbery. The film then follows Connie's efforts to get him out of jail. Pattinson had to perfect a Queens accent for the role - which took a while to get right. (Soundbite) Actor, Robert Pattinson, saying (English): "A lot of time. It was like nine months, and also I love doing accents and it's just that I find it one of the most interesting things. I think you can tell a lot about a person from their accents. About what the area is like when they grew up in and how their parents are and what they've kind of gone through I think I just I think that's an interesting, it's like learning how to sing in a way. But I always loved doing it." The movie was directed by brothers Josh and Ben Safdie... With Ben starring in the movie as Connie's brother Nick. The film has been critically acclaimed and was in competition at the Cannes Film Festival... But the brothers weren't initially sure that Pattison was right for the lead role. (Soundbite) Director, Josh Safdie, saying (English): "Weirdly the first thing that I thought when he (Robert Pattinson) reached out was he doesn't fit in the project we were trying to make so. But you know, he has a uniqueness to his likeness he has a real I don't know he has like a megastar quality to him but not in like a tabloid sense, a classic sense, a gravitational pull sense. And so we knew that that would could make something in the popcorn vein and sneak in ideas." Audiences can enjoy themselves with the thrills of Pattinson's latest film when 'Good Time' is released on August 11.
