ROUGH CUT. NO REPORTER NARRATION. UK Prime Minister Theresa May said on Friday (August 18) that authorities were looking into reports of a missing child with dual British nationality in Spain after Thursday's (August 17) attacks. May added that Britain has offered assistance to Spain after the attacks in and near Barcelona left 14 people dead and wounded scores more. The Prime Minister, who was at her country house Chequers just outside of London, said Britain would carefully examine the powers police and security services need to tackle the common threat from militant attacks. A suspected militant drove a van into crowds on Barcelona's most famous avenue, Las Ramblas, on Thursday. The area was thronged with holiday-makers at the height of Spain's tourist season.
