(ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION) U.S. teenager Connor Prout has publicly apologised for hanging a noose at a middle school in Crofton, Maryland. He reportedly pleaded guilty to a hate crime, after being caught in the act by a surveillance camera in May. A black leadership group invited him to make the apology, which he accepted.
