AIRSHOW-Hong Kong Airlines behind A380 order-source

LE BOURGET, France, June 23 (Reuters) - A firm order for 10 Airbus EAD.PA A380 superjumbos, described by the European planemaker as a deal with an unidentified customer, was placed by Hong Kong Airlines, an industry source said on Thursday.

The aircraft are worth $3.8 billion at list prices.

Hong Kong Airlines said last week it would announce orders at the Paris Air Show, including A380s. [ID:nL3E7HE0JY]

The Hong Kong-based carrier is 46 percent owned by HNA Group, parent of Hainan Airlines (600221.SS).
