HELSINKI, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Amer Sports (AMEAS.HE) has not received any indication that its top shareholder, Iceland’s Novator, would sell its stake in the Finnish sporting goods group.
“I have not heard anything from Novator that could indicate they would sell their stake,” an Amer spokesman said.
Many Icelandic firms have been selling off foreign assets to reduce liabilities and boost liquidity. Iceland’s Exista EXISTA.IC said earlier on Tuesday it would sell its near 20-percent stake in Finnish insurer Sampo SAMAS.HE.
