Argentine peso touches floor of central bank's trading band - traders

BUENOS AIRES, Jan 10 (Reuters) - The Argentine peso touched the floor of the central bank’s trading band at 37.355 per U.S. dollar on Thursday, according to traders, opening the door for possible dollar buying in the foreign exchange market by the monetary authority.

The official “no-intervention” trading band set by the central bank is 37.355 to 48.342 pesos per U.S. dollar.
