JAKARTA, Dec 31 (Reuters) - Indonesia plans to issue global bonds next year, although no date has been set yet, Treasury Director General Rahmat Waluyanto said on Wednesday.
“We are scheduling issuance in 2009, but we don’t know the timing yet,” he said.
Indonesia had said that it planned global conventional bonds and Islamic, or sukuk, issues, but the issues were delayed as the financial crisis hit. (Reporting by Adriana Nina Kusuma; Editing by Sara Webb)
