NEW YORK, Dec 11 (Reuters) - The Chief Executive of AT&T (T.N) said on Tuesday that the company is not missing any “big pieces” in order to execute its strategy in response to a question about his position on mergers and acquisitions.
“There are right now no big piece parts that are missing that would allow us to execute” our strategy Randall Stephenson said at the company’s meeting with analysts.
But he said AT&T would continue to look at deals that make sense, such as acquistions that expand its network footprint like its recent purchas of wireless operator Dobson.
The company has been strongly rumored as a potential acquirer of satellite television provider EchoStar (DISH.O). (Reporting by Sinead Carew, editing by Leslie Gevirtz) (email: firstname.lastname@example.org +1 646-223-6186))
