Indonesia takes Australia to WTO over duties on A4 paper

GENEVA, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Indonesia has lodged a complaint at the World Trade Organization to challenge anti-dumping duties Australia has imposed on A4 paper, a document published by the WTO showed on Tuesday.

The Indonesian filing, dated Sept. 1, said the Australian anti-dumping duties also applied to paper exported from Brazil, China and Thailand.

Indonesia’s “request for consultations”, the first step in a trade dispute, gives Australia 60 days to settle the issue. After that period, Indonesia could ask the WTO to adjudicate. (Reporting by Tom Miles, editing by Larry King)
