Bill collection upswing buys Astria Health more time for Ch. 11 plan

Bankrupt Washington-state hospital and clinic chain Astria Health received court approval on Wednesday for more time to file a reorganization plan after arguing it expected to meet or exceed collections projections to bolster its revenue.

Judge Frank Kurtz of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Washington in an order extended Astria’s period in which it is the only party in its Chapter 11 bankruptcy able to file a reorganization plan to Nov. 4.
