Delaware's chief bankruptcy judge wants to stay out of your business

Chief Judge Christopher Sontchi, who oversees Delaware’s bustling bankruptcy court, has determined that the best way to handle messy commercial bankruptcies is to encourage the key players to work out their issues for themselves.

“My philosophy, if you will, as a bankruptcy judge is that I try very hard to stay out of the way of the parties” from an economic standpoint, he said in a recent interview with Reuters.
