Orioles-White Sox rained out, doubleheader Wednesday

Tuesday night’s game between the Chicago White Sox and visiting Baltimore Orioles was postponed due to inclement weather.

The teams will make it up with a straight doubleheader Wednesday, starting at 4:10 p.m. ET. The originally scheduled game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the opener.

The White Sox won the series opener 5-3 on Monday night at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Chicago has won three straight, while Baltimore has lost eight of its last 10 games.

Orioles right-hander Andrew Cashner (4-1, 4.18 ERA) and White Sox right-hander Ivan Nova (0-3, 8-42) are the projected starters for the opener on Wednesday, while Baltimore right-hander David Hess (1-4, 5.88) and Chicago lefty Carlos Rodon (3-2, 4.94) are expected to start the nightcap.
