The scheduled game between the Texas Rangers and the host Cleveland Indians was postponed due to inclement weather Tuesday night, and the teams will play a doubleheader Wednesday.
Play was delayed before a pitch was thrown Tuesday, and after a 15-minute delay, the announcement was made that the game was postponed.
The first game of the Wednesday doubleheader will start at 1:10 p.m. ET, which had been the scheduled time for the series finale. The second game will start shortly after the first game concludes.
The Rangers won the series opener 1-0 Monday behind seven shutout innings from Mike Minor and a fourth-inning sacrifice fly from Nomar Mazara. Texas earned its fifth win in a row while Cleveland lost for the first time in four contests.
