Josh Bell and Bryan Reynolds homered, and the Pittsburgh Pirates racked up 17 hits while delivering a 10-7 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night in Anaheim, Calif.

Bell went 2-for-4 and had three RBIs to take over the National League RBI lead with 98, two better than Atlanta’s Freddie Freeman. The homer, Bell’s 31st of the season, was his fourth in three games following a 26-game drought.

Starling Marte had his second straight three-hit game to help Pittsburgh win a second consecutive contest for the first time since the All-Star break. The Pirates are 6-24 since play resumed.

Reynolds and Adam Frazier also had three hits for Pittsburgh. Colin Moran and Jose Osuna had two apiece.

David Fletcher went 4-for-4 and scored three times for the Angels, who lost for the 14th time in 18 games. Justin Upton had three RBIs, and Shohei Ohtani had a double, a triple and two RBIs.

Albert Pujols recorded his 3,166th career hit to tie fellow Dominican Republic native Adrian Beltre for most among players born outside the United States.

Pirates right-hander Trevor Williams (5-5) gave up five runs and seven hits over five innings. He issued five walks and struck out two.

Right-hander Michael Feliz (one inning) and left-hander Francisco Liriano (retired six straight batters) combined for three scoreless innings of relief.

Right-hander Clay Holmes allowed a two-run single to Upton in the ninth before left-hander Felipe Vazquez entered to get Kole Calhoun to ground into an game-ending double play on his lone pitch to record his 22nd save.

Los Angeles right-hander Griffin Canning allowed three runs and six hits over four innings. He walked three and struck out two. Right-hander Taylor Cole (2-4) allowed four runs and five hits while recording just two outs.

The Angels jumped out a 3-0 lead in the first inning with Ohtani (double) and Pujols (single) contributing run-scoring hits.

Ohtani smacked a two-out RBI triple inside the left field line to make it 4-0 in the second.

Moran capped a three-run Pittsburgh outburst in the third with a run-scoring double to right to pull the Pirates within 4-3.

Luis Rengifo notched an RBI single in the bottom of the third to give the Angels a 5-3 lead.

Marte singled to right off Cole to start the fifth, and Bell followed with a 410-foot tying blast to left-center. Moran singled to center, and Osuna sent a double inside the third base line to give the Pirates a 6-5 edge.
