MUMBAI, June 30 (Reuters) - Indian state-run equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd BHEL.BO said on Monday it had received a contract worth more than 20.8 billion rupees ($485 million) for a 400 MW thermal power project in Syria.
The order for the Tishreen Thermal Power Plant Extension entails design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning of equipment, it said in a statement.
