Bioton seeks $32 mln to roll debt,investment-source

WARSAW, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Polish insulin maker Bioton BOTN.WA seeks around 100 million zlotys ($32 million) from a planned rights issue and restructuring to help roll over its short-term debt and finance pending investments, a source said.

A source close to the company said Bioton, one of world’s only handful of human insulin producers, has around 400 million zlotys in debt, two-thirds of which is short term.
