Virgin says in compensation talks with Boeing

LONDON, April 10 (Reuters) - Britain’s Virgin Atlantic said on Thursday it was in compensation talks with Boeing Co (BA.N) over an order for 15 new 787 Dreamliner aircraft after the plane maker announced a further six-month delay.

“We are concerned about the reports of these further delays and we have already begun talks with Boeing over levels of compensation due and the possible need for replacement aircraft,” a Virgin Atlantic [VA.UL] spokeswoman said. (Reporting by Jonathan Saul; Editing by David Cowell)
