SAO PAULO, Sept 4 (Reuters) - The Brazilian unit of German drugmaker and animal health company Boehringer Ingelheim said on Monday laboratories already are changing the composition of vaccines used against foot-and-mouth disease in the country, after request from the government.
Speaking before embarking on a technical mission that will visit ranchers during almost two months in Brazil, company executive Pedro Bacco said the new vaccines will be available around 2019. Labs will develop the product during 2018.
